The Design Process
Lushous Landscapes turn design concepts into workable plans. Depending on the project, plans may be in the form of a simple concept plan, a landscape plan, or a detailed plan suitable for council submission.

Initial Consultation
A Lushous Landscapes garden consultation is perfect for those looking for direction & guidance prior to tackling DIY garden transformations. With a one or two hour site visit we define the scope of the project & suggest basic ways to enhance your garden through plant selection, artistic enhancement and maintenance advice. This may be sufficient for you to proceed with developing your garden, and we are always available to provide assistance and advice as required.

Concept Plans
From the design brief we can develop a concept plan suited to you site, lifestyle & personal preferences. We will select plants and materials appropriate to your site and surrounding environment.

Landscape Plans
For those embarking on larger projects, a design consultation includes an on-site meeting to discuss your ideas and how you see yourself using your space. A preliminary assessment of your site is made and initial design ideas are documented. We will develop your plan to include all the details necessary to convert ideas into reality.
Your plan will list all plants selected, pot sizes & quantities, and will show where each plant is to be planted in your garden. Lushous Landscapes can source, order and arrange delivery of you plants to your door. This makes the process very easy if you choose to undertake the planting process yourself.

Detailed Landscape Plans for Council DA
The majority of Councils require a landscape plan to be submitted as part of development applications. Requirements can differ between local government areas, so we make sure we keep up to date with council directives.
